Usage:
1. Purpose of connection: Mainly used to connect the ends of two PP (polypropylene) pipes to form a detachable connection point. Suitable for occasions that require frequent inspection, maintenance or connection to valves and equipment.
2. Paired use: Must be used in pairs (one piece is welded to one pipe end, and the other piece is welded to the other pipe end or equipment flange).
3. Connection process:
Weld the two PP flanges firmly to the ends of the two PP pipes to be connected by hot-melt butt welding or hot-melt socket welding.
Place a suitable flange gasket between the two flanges.
Align the bolt holes on the flanges.
Insert the bolts and tighten the nuts evenly in a diagonal cross sequence until the specified torque value is reached, so that the gasket is evenly compressed to form a seal.

Installation precautions:
1. Welding quality: Hot-melt butt welding is the first choice, and must be operated in strict accordance with the welding process specifications (temperature, pressure, time, cooling) of PP materials to ensure that the welded joints are defect-free, strong, and well sealed. The weld area must be thoroughly cleaned and dried.
2. Flange surface protection: During welding and installation, be sure to protect the flange sealing surface to avoid scratches, bumps, or contamination with oil and dust.
3. Concentricity and parallelism: When welding, ensure that the flange is perpendicular to the pipeline axis. The two flanges must be parallel and concentric after installation, otherwise the gasket will be unevenly stressed and leak.
4. Bolt tightening: Appropriate bolts (material, strength grade, length) and washers must be used. Strictly tighten in diagonal cross order in multiple steps to the specified torque value to avoid single tightening or wrong sequence causing flange skewness and leakage. It is strictly forbidden to overtighten and cause flange deformation or damage.
5. Gasket selection: Use gaskets that are compatible with the medium, temperature, and pressure. Check whether the gasket is intact, of appropriate size, and placed in the center. It is forbidden to use gaskets with an inner diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the pipe.
