Socket flange (flat socket, B pipe)

Structure: This is a flange, but its inner hole is designed with a special groove for placing O-type rubber sealing rings.

Function: Mainly used for quick installation connection systems of pipe fittings, or places where quick disassembly and maintenance are required. It provides a faster and sometimes detachable connection method than traditional sockets.

Usage:

Put the plug-in flange on the plug ends of the two ductile iron pipes to be connected.

Put the O-type rubber sealing ring in the groove of the flange.

Align the plug ends of the two pipes and tighten them.

Align the two plug-in flanges on the two pipes and tighten them with bolts and nuts. The tightening force causes the flange to press the O-ring, squeeze and deform to fill the gap between the pipe wall and the flange and the gap between the two pipe end faces to achieve sealing.

In addition, our company particularly emphasizes that the construction party must follow the construction regulations and civilized construction, especially in the installation of steel-plastic pipe fittings, and must not force push or pull hard to prevent the rubber ring from being misplaced and causing water leakage. During the pressure test, because the pipe fittings themselves are heavy and the pressure requirements are high, the brackets or both ends must be firmly fixed. Please refer to the construction regulations for details. The normal working pressure of the pipe fittings produced by our company is 16kg/mpa, or even higher.
