Selection points:
Pipeline interface type: First consider whether your pipeline system itself is a socket-type interface or a flange interface (or needs to connect flange equipment). Double-socket and socket flanges are used for socket-socket pipes; double-disc and plug-in flanges (matching specific pipe ends) are used for flange connections; plug-in flanges are used for quick installation of ductile iron pipes.
Functional requirements: Whether a diameter change is required (double-socket reducer) Whether a turn is required (double-socket elbow/double-disc elbow) Whether different types of interfaces need to be connected (socket flange) Whether quick installation or disassembly is required (plug-in flange, double-disc elbow)
Pipe material: Ductile iron pipes often use socket and plug-in flanges; steel pipes often use welding or flanges; PVC pipes often use socket bonding or flanges.
Pressure level and sealing requirements: Different connection methods have different sealing performance and pressure bearing capacity, which need to match system requirements.
In addition, our company particularly emphasizes that the construction party must carry out civilized construction in accordance with the requirements of the construction regulations, especially in the installation of steel-plastic pipe fittings, and must not forcefully push or pull to prevent the rubber ring from being misplaced and causing water leakage. During the pressure test, the pipe fittings themselves are heavy and the pressure requirements are high, so the brackets or both ends must be firmly fixed. Please refer to the construction regulations for details. The normal working pressure of the pipe fittings produced by our company is 16kg/mpa or even higher.
Structure: Both ends of the elbow are sockets (female). Common elbow angles are 90 degrees, 45 degrees, 22.5 degrees, 11.25 degrees, etc.
Function: Used to change the direction of the pipeline (turn), and use a socket connection at the same time.
How to use:
Insert the spigot ends (male ends) of the two pipes that need to be turned and connected into the sockets at both ends of the elbow.
Place a rubber sealing ring in the socket, and a sealed connection is formed after insertion.
