Stainless steel high temperature resistant pipe repair clamp
It plays a vital role in the maintenance of industrial pipeline systems. The main body is made of stainless steel. The sealing rubber can be selected from fluororubber and silicone rubber.
Fluororubber:
Features: excellent high temperature resistance (-20°C to +200°C / short-term up to +250°C), excellent oil resistance, fuel resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, good weather resistance and ozone resistance.
Silicone rubber:
Features: extremely wide operating temperature range (-60°C to +200°C / special formula can reach more than +300°C), excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, good electrical insulation, physiological inertness (food/medical grade), low compression set, excellent elasticity. However, the mechanical strength is relatively low, and the oil/solvent resistance is average.
Common stainless steel grades:
304/L: general type, good corrosion resistance, the most widely used (food, water treatment, construction, general chemical industry). L stands for ultra-low carbon, which has better resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding.
316/L: Contains molybdenum, which significantly improves the resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially chloride ion corrosion. It is used in marine environment, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, seawater desalination, bleaching agent environment, etc.
Duplex stainless steel (such as 2205/ S31803): High strength, strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting, used in harsh environments (seawater, chemical industry, oil and gas).
