Tee leak repair clamp Stainless steel
It plays a vital role in the repair of pipeline systems. The main body is made of stainless steel. The sealing rubber can be selected from nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, fluororubber, and silicone rubber. It is suitable for repairing leaks at tee connections, leaks at tee electric fusion connections, leaks at tee hot melt connections, and leaks at tee socket connections.
Common stainless steel grades:
304/L: General type, good corrosion resistance, and the most widely used. L means ultra-low carbon, and better resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding.
316/L: Contains molybdenum, which significantly improves the resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially chloride ion corrosion. Used in marine environments, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, seawater desalination, bleaching agent environments, etc.
Duplex stainless steel: High strength, strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting, used in harsh environments.
Analysis of the causes of pipeline leakage:
Mechanical damage: Construction collision, heavy object falling, excavation damage (third-party damage).
Foundation settlement: Causes the pipeline system to deform and generates excessive stress at the tee.
Natural disasters: Earthquakes, floods, landslides, etc.
Frost heave: The medium in the pipeline freezes and expands, causing rupture.
