Installation precautions:
Direction confirmation: Before installation, be sure to confirm whether the direction of the elbow meets the design requirements.
Support position: The elbow is a stress concentration point, and its two ends, especially near the outlet end, must have reliable support to resist the force generated by the fluid turning (especially water hammer).
Reduce turbulence: When possible, using an elbow after a long straight pipe section can reduce turbulence and pressure drop more than using multiple elbows in a short distance.
American Standard Note: "American Standard" usually refers to the ASME B16 standard size to ensure interchangeability when connected with the same standard valves, flanges, etc. The installation method itself is the same as that of a normal elbow.
