Installation precautions:
Flow direction considerations: Usually the fluid flows from one end (main pipe inlet) to the other end (main pipe outlet), and is divided (or merged) to the branch pipe outlet at the same time. Pay attention to the design flow direction during installation.
Support key: The tee is a very stress-concentrated part, especially the branch pipe outlet. Strong supports must be set on both sides of the main pipe and under the branch pipe outlet to resist the additional load and possible vibration caused by the diversion/merging.
Avoid cantilever: The branch pipe should not be too long to form a cantilever, otherwise a large bending moment will be generated at the root of the tee. The branch pipe must also be supported according to the specifications.
Chemical American Standard: Emphasizes compliance with chemical pipeline standards, and the material and pressure level must strictly match the working conditions.
