How to use: One end is UPVC socket (gluing), and the other end is internal thread. Used to connect UPVC pipe system to metal pipe fittings with external threads.
Installation precautions:
1. Installation of glued end: Insert the UPVC pipe into its socket end according to the standard gluing procedure.
2. Installation of threaded end:
Wrap an appropriate amount of polytetrafluoroethylene raw tape (usually 15-20 turns) on the metal external thread, or apply pipe thread sealant (note to choose a type compatible with the medium).
Align the internal thread of the internal thread bushing with the metal external thread, and screw it in a few turns by hand to ensure alignment.
Tighten with a suitable pipe pliers (chain pliers or adjustable wrench are recommended on the hexagonal part of the bushing). Do not use excessive force! UPVC thread strength is lower than metal, and over-tightening will cause cracking.
Direction: Note that the direction of the internal thread interface after installation must meet the subsequent equipment connection requirements.
