Usage: Used for flange connection of UPVC/PVC pipes with other equipment or other material pipes. It consists of two matching flanges, a slip-on flange, a PVC slip-on flange flange nipple, flange gaskets, bolts and nuts.
Installation precautions:
Nipple installation: First, firmly bond the PVC slip-on flange flange nipple to the PVC pipe end according to the standard gluing method. Make sure that the end face of the nipple is flat and perpendicular to the pipe axis.
Insertion of slip-on flange: Before gluing the nipple, first insert the slip-on flange into the pipe from the pipe end and push it far enough to the back to avoid hindering the bonding of the nipple.
Alignment: Align the PVC pipe with the nipple glued to the center with the matching flange, making sure that the two flange surfaces are parallel and the bolt holes are aligned.
Place gasket: Place a suitable gasket between the two flange surfaces.
Move slip-on flange: Slide the slip-on flange loosely sleeved on the PVC pipe forward so that it fits tightly against the end face of the PVC nipple.
Bolt tightening: Insert the bolt and tighten the nut by hand. Then tighten the bolts in a diagonal, cross, divided, uniform order and torque (usually 2-3 times to reach the final torque). It is strictly forbidden to tighten on one side at a time. The goal is to make the gasket evenly stressed and achieve sealing.
Bolt selection: Use stainless steel bolts that meet the specifications, with moderate length, and consider anti-corrosion requirements.
Parallelism: Poor centering and parallelism are the main causes of leakage, so be sure to adjust carefully.
